Jimmy Stofer is an Emmy-nominated composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Minneapolis, MN, now based in Los Angeles.  His film and television scores include Girl In The Picture (Netflix), Icahn: The Restless Billionaire (HBO), Look Into My Eyes (AMC+), The Truth About Jim (MAX), Vice (HBO), Drunk Bus (Showtime), and Daughters Of The Cult (Hulu).  His music has been used by numerous commercials, trailers, and TV shows.  Clients include ABC, NBC, CBS, MTV, HBO, and ads with Google, Nike, Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Apple, Visa, Target, Verizon, and many more.

With a formal background in jazz studies and music theory, Jimmy became an accomplished session/touring musician at a young age. He has played with several artists including Grammy-nominated, multi-plantinum selling artist The Fray, Oscar and Golden Globe winning singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham, critically acclaimed indie rock band Rose Hill Drive, popular modern hip-hop/rock band The Flobots, and many more.  He has had the pleasure of playing countless gigs both nationally and around the world, as well as popular TV shows as Good Morning America, David Letterman, Ellen, Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno, Craig Ferguson, and others.

As a composer and musician, Stofer is a talented multi-instrumentalist, being proficient at guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and other stringed instruments.  In addition, he is well versed with various synthesizers, keyboards, and the world of electronic music which he is able to incorporate into his scores.
